A Chief Magistrate Court in Uganda today December 15, dropped the charges against Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems.
The singers were arrested on Sunday, December 13, and charged for breaking the COVID-19 guidelines following an illegal concert at Ddungu resort in Munyonyo.
The singer’s were also arraigned before the Makinye division court on Monday, December 14 and remanded till Wednesday, December 16.
However, Nigerians and some diplomatic outcry has led to their release and the charges against them have now been dropped
